GeekDad: The Trouvelot Astronomical Drawings

The Trouvelot Astronomical Drawings are fifteen wonderful illustrations by the French astronomer and artist Étienne Léopold Trouvelot (December 26, 1827 – April 22, 1895). They can be found in a public domain collection at the New York Library Digital Collections. Unfortunately Trouvelot, who was an amateur entomologist, will be forever remembered for introducing the Gypsy Moth into the United States.
